Urban/Suburban/Rural
I have lived in the suburbs all my life. I have noticed it to be great, in my guess better than urban settings. Everything is close and you can drive to your destination and be there usually in 5-10 minutes. I have been to D.C. tons of times and I have noticed the numbers are much higher than where I live. This seems to be a trend in any urban to suburban comparison. Why is this? I have no idea other than they go here to bum money off people because they would have more money to spend since people flee to cities to do so or go to sporting events. My grandmother lives in a rural area in Pennsylvania and it is terrible, I always get bored while I am up there other than it is great to see her. You have to travel at least 10-15 miles just to get to a Walmart! It is terrible and I believe they should put stores in closer to people so they aren't traveling in a state of emergency to get their supplies.

It's great that you are able to go anywhere in 5-10 mins where you live. The traffic is such in most Northern Va. suburbs that it's a miracle if you get to your destination in such a short time. And of course it's worse during the morning and evening rush hours.
